C. William (Bill) Hardt, CEO
Bill began working in the electrical industry by sweeping
floors for his father at C&H
Electric when he was 12-years-old.
After graduating from Lincoln Junior College, Bill worked as
an apprentice for C&H Electric and eventually became a journeyman.
After a few years, Bill served as a foreman for several projects.
During that time, he gained enough experience and was offered
a position as an estimator and project manager.
In 1973, Bill and his brother, David, left C&H Electric
and formed Hardt Electric. Bill became the president of Hardt
Electric.
In the beginning, Bill and David wore many hats. Bill's expertise
was in estimating and supervision of labor. To this day, he continues
to be in charge of marketing.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys traveling. He has explored the
four corners of the world through the NECA study missions and
has met with fellow electrical contractors from Beijing to Berlin.
