Nenad Jelaca is one of Hardt Electric’s head electricians, with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He started with Hardt Electric in 2006. Nenad’s mother, uncle and two close cousins were electro-technicians and always encouraged him to follow in the trade. He graduated Electro Technician High School in Nova Gradiska and started his career as an electrician at Art TV Station in Belgrade. Nenad was performing different technical support functions during his 10 year career at this TV station. After moving to the United States, Nenad’s interest in the electrical field grew. He graduated at The IBEW-NECA Technical Institute in Alsip, IL. He is certified as a Swing-scaffold Operator, Hilti Qualified Operator and holds certifications in RSES Refrigerant Usage, Fall Protection and AutoCAD. He especially enjoys projects that are challenging and takes pride in customer satisfaction with quality workmanship. He is also very active in his community as a volunteer leader in a variety of activities not tied to his industry. In his spare time, Nenad actively serves the community as an Executive Board Member of Serbian Church in Chicago.
