Todd Connaughton has been Hardt Electric’s head service professional since 2010 with more than 30 years of electrical installation and troubleshooting. Todd started working with electronics and wires when he was 13 years old and his dad got him a electronics kit. He immediately was interested in taking things apart, as well as learning how and what makes things work. When he was 18, he went to work with a sign company, which put him on his way to becoming an electrician. After high school, he joined the Army and worked with electronics and electrical installations for field communication operations.
Todd became an electrician after his service was up and started construction and rehabilitation of new and existing homes. He began working in a service truck and serviced the North Shore and Chicagoland area, specializing in the construction and rehab of older homes. Todd takes pride in his work and treats his customers homes as if he was working in his own home.
Todd is certified as an Illinois-approved electric car charger installation technician. He is certified as a Lead Paint Renovator by the state of Illinois.
