Paramount Lofts
01. Introduction
Hardt Electric successfully completed a total overhaul of the electrical systems for this residential development in Chicago’s West Loop. Once Chicago’s largest department store outside of the Loop, these loft‐style condominiums have been transformed to feature first-class amenities. Hardt Electric completed this seven-story building’s electrical buildout within the time frame of the owner’s aggressive schedule.
02. Results
In the 207 individual units, we worked on the tenant panel, receptacles, light fixtures and switches, telephone and TV cabling, smoke detectors and life safety speakers. In the base building, we worked on two 3000 A electrical distribution systems, public area power and lighting, parking garage power and lighting, CO2 detection in parking garage, the bus duct riser system, elevator recall, the fire alarm system and the emergency power generator.
